MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Welcome to the Midland County Sportsman's Club

 

Membership is open to individuals 18 years of age or older.


Membership shall be based on character and interest in conservation and shooting sports, without regard to factors such as ethnic background, age, orientation or disabilities.

Divisiveness will not be tolerated.

 

If the spouse of a member wishes to use the club independently, then the spouse must attend the membership orientation and pay full dues. Otherwise the spouse must abide by the Guest Privilege rules.

Membership requires you to create and maintain an online account.
All renewal and club notifications will be sent via email. Please ensure your email address is up to date and checked regularly.
 

 

How to Join:

To become a member, you must attend a new member orientation in person. They are held at the Clubhouse as follows:

Apr. - Oct. on the 1st. Tuesday of each month @ 7:00 PM.

Nov. - Mar. on the 1st Saturday of each month @ 9:00 AM.

The entrance gate will open about 30 minutes before the meeting begins. Please arrive early to allow time for signing in.

 

Prior to being accepted for membership, all prospective members must review the club rules, policies, and procedures in person during an orientation conducted by a club official designated by the Board of Directors.

 

When the club official is confident the prospective member understands and intends to obey the rules, they will forward the member’s application to the Board of Directors for review.


How to Get Started:

1) Preregister using the New Member Signup tab on our website, selecting the "Member Type" month you will be attending orientation.

                                                              NOTE: You only need to sign up once. Please do not sign up multiple times. Your profile will remain on hold until you complete the process. 
                                                              Applicants who have not completed orientation and paid membership fees within six months will be deleted.

2) Attend Orientation and complete the Membership Safety Quiz.

3) Payment is accepted at orientation (cash or check only, exact change appreciated), or pay online after acceptance.
4) Your club credentials will be mailed to you upon completing the above and Board acceptance. 

 

If you haven't pre registered when you attend orientation:

You will be required to create your online profile (New Member Signup) and take the Membership Safety Quiz before being accepted.

Payment is accepted at orientation (cash or check only), or pay online after acceptance.

Dues & Fees:

The membership year is from September 1st through August 31st for all members, both current and new members.
Dues entitle you to membership from your acceptance date until August 31st.

New member fees are based on the Month you are accepted into the club.

Between April 1 and August 31, new member dues are prorated for the remainder of current year and extend through August 31st of the following year.

 

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES ARE $80 (effective 2/13/12)*

New members pay an additional $40 one time initiation fee.

New members pay an additional one time $10 gate card fee**

If you let your membership lapse, you must pay the annual dues plus the $40 initiation fee to rejoin (effective 2024).

You may also have to re-attend the new member orientation depending on how long your membership has lapsed.

The total fee schedule for new members, based on the month of joining, is as follows:

September through March: $10 + $40 + $80 = $130

April: $10 + $40 + $60 current year + $80 for next year = $190

May: $10 + $40 + $50 current year + $80 for next year = $180

June: $10 + $40 + $40 current year + $80 for next year = $170

July: $10 + $40 + $30 current year + $80 for next year = $160

August: $10 + $40 + $10 current year + $80 for next year = $140


* There is a $40 initiation fee, in addition to annual dues, for late renewals
** A $10 replacement fee applies to all members for lost or damaged cards

Please review the range Safety Rules before going to orientation.

Annual Renewal

You will receive three renewal reminder emails in July and August from mcsc.members@gmail.com (mailer@mail2.clubexpress.com). These emails will include a link to renew your membership. 
Once logged in, follow the prompts to renew and complete payment.

Alternatively, you can renew by using the Members Login in the upper right of the website, log into your account, and click on the Renew link.
Please login and renew by August 31 to avoid a $40 fee.

Forgot Your Login Information?
1) Go to Member Login (top right corner of the website)
2) Click the "Forgot my.." link.

To recover your account, you’ll need:
a) Access to the email you used when creating your account.
b) Your first name exactly as it appears in your profile.
c) Club Express will send you your username and a temporary password to login.
If you're unsure which email address or first name is linked to your account, please contact us at mcsc.members@gmail.com to request this information.

If you are not seeing the emails, please check your Spam or Trash folder.  If you are not receiving the emails at all, please contact ClubExpress support at: support@clubexpress.com
